I am a licensed Florida Realtor in the Marco Island - Napes area. My family is also a general contractor and one facet of the industry we are currently building is "Affordable-Work Force" Housing in the Naples and Everglades City areas. Many people do not know about the government subsidies available to help them obtain home ownership. Although I have been in the real estate industry for 25 years, "affordable" housing has been a learning process for me. I continue to find out about new programs daily! I am happy to pass this knowledge on to anyone who is in need.
Some of the County and State subsidies can help lower a qualified buyers first mortgage up to 40% of their purchase price! Federal subsidies can substantially lower the interest rate making this an unbelievable opportunity for many! In addition, we already have impact fee deferrals in place on select properties! On many of our Collier County properties, this number equates to an additional $20,000 off the purchase price!

Some of our newest projects entail mixed-use buildings, with commercial on the first floor and affordable townhomes or condos above. The residential units might be used as rental or for sale, depending upon the market area.
