With so much "Doom and Gloom" out there one often forgets, in Real Estate there are "Happy Endings".How many of you remember the "Good Ole Days?"
Many times we discuss other people`s misery when it comes to "Foreclosure,Short Sales,and Distressed Properties" it`s hard to comprehend there once were "Good Times" in our profession.
Yesterday, we had a "Feel Good" moment. We have a listing in Davie,Florida where the sellers had to relocate to Utah. They have a condo which we placed on the MLS. The couple we in a hurry to sell and needed a miracle buyer. It`s hard to tell someone how the market is. Even harder when the client has two mortgage payments to make each month.
We made sure to advertise the home throughout the Net! Priced the home properly, had our "In House Stagger" assist with the furniture and give her personal touch to the condo, to enhance the look of the home. It worked! We received an offer in 6 days to purchase the condo.Yes, miracles sometimes happen! The buyers fell "In Love" with the condo and can close before the end of the year. The sellers came to our office yesterday to sign the contract and were in tears! The pressures, many face when having a new family, the reality of finances and the difficulty of leaving you`re friends and family for a new state finally took it`s toll on the both of them, They started to "Cry and laugh" at the same time, thanking us for our assistance in getting the job done.
Once upon a time we used to share many "Happy Endings" with our clients as I`m positive many of you once did as well. It felt really good to know you`re still doing something good for people!
I don`t know about you, but after they left with smiles on their faces, I had the feeling "Life was good again"
